Novare: Block 52-Post Office site

From Urban Austin

Atlanta-based Novare Group Holdings and Austin-based Andrews Urban have been selected by the United States Postal Service to redevelop their site in downtown Austin's Market District. The developers are currently constructing the 44-story, 567-foot, 360 condominiums - also located in the Market District.

This 40+ story, ~$200 million mixed-use development will include a 150-room boutique hotel (rumored to be run by TWELVE Hotels & Residences, a subsidiary of the Novare Group), 500+ condominiums, more than 25,000 sq. ft. of ground-level retail, and possibly office space. Construction is expected to begin in 2009.
